Biographical Information about Constance Lynn Conroy: Born in Ft. Eustis, Virginia, she started painting at the age of 8 years old influenced by the Waldorff School. Her Grandmother inspired and encouraged her to paint. She has studied in Europe in Heidelberg, Germany. Constance describes her style as loose impressionistic, with lots of color. She says “I’m not afraid of color. People who have my paintings in their home all say that it makes them happy.” Landscapes and flowers have been her study of interest. Constance feels fortunate that she is able to go anywhere in Sonoma County and find beautiful landscapes to paint. Painting outdoors is what she does best. She finds that her colors are more vivid when she paints outdoors. Constance has a BFA from Purdue University and a MA from the University of California Santa Clara. She been published in Style Magazine, Colorado Living Magazine, and has had shows in the Imanti Gallery of California, The Colorado Collection in Denver, The Mills Gallery, and many, many others.
